Steel Guard Safety's Red Spark™ Silicone Coated Fiberglass Welding Blankets are the heavy-duty choice for welding environments with medium to heavy sparks, grinding operations, arc gouging, and areas with molten splash exposure. At 32 oz per square yard, the silicone coating delivers superior flexibility, abrasion resistance, and protection against molten splash compared to acrylic coated or uncoated fiberglass alternatives. Use vertically as a welding curtain for heavy spark containment or lay flat as a protective blanket in high-impact welding and fabrication zones. Made in the USA.

Important: Not for Heat Treating or Stress Relief

Red Spark silicone coated fiberglass welding blankets are designed for active welding, grinding, and spark/spatter containment. They are not suitable for heat treating, furnace work, or stress relief applications. For those applications, see our Silica Welding Blankets rated for heat treating up to 1800°F.
